Visa partners with edo Interactive to launch Card Linked Offers in Europe

Depth and scale of Visa’s transaction data enables marketers to target customers with personalised, relevant and simple cashback offers

London, 13 October 2014 - Visa today announced a new partnership with edo interactive, one of the market leaders in the fast growing Card Linked Offers (CLO) industry. The partnership will launch an innovative, targeted CLO cashback proposition in Europe, starting with a pilot at the end of this year and launching at scale in 2015 in the UK as the first market. edo already works with over 200 banks and more than 1,000 retailers in the USA in this field.

The uniqueness of the combined digital advertising proposition comes from bringing together the best of Visa Europe with its scale, data and reach combined with edo’s innovative solution which connects brands with the customers they want to attract based on their spend behaviour. As a result cardholders who opt-in to the service just need to pay with a Visa card to get great relevant offers, accessible anywhere on any device, with fast cashback rewards.

The CLO proposition delivers real benefits to all parties, promoting relevant content from retailer, lifestyle, entertainment and leisure businesses to end customers. These include retail discounts and unique money can’t buy experiences, which represent an exciting new digital media platform for retailers and provides financial institutions with valuable personalised benefits for their customers.
