The Visa card range

Visa doesn’t issue cards - this is done by banks and financial institutions.

Depending on your bank and country, the range of Visa cards covers all three ways to pay – whether you’re paying now, later or in advance.

Visa Classic

Visa Classic card The standard Visa card that most people have in their wallets – the world’s most widely issued card.

Visa premium cards

Visa Gold, Visa Platinum and Visa Infinite cards Visa Gold, Visa Platinum and Visa Infinite offer cardholders increased services and benefits.

Features and availability will vary between different banks and countries, but all three cards will give you a higher level of service than the standard Visa Classic card.

Visa Electron

Visa Electron card A card that requires all transactions to be electronically authorized – at both point-of-sale and Automated Teller Machine (ATM), or cashpoint.

PLUS

Plus logo Cards with Visa’s PLUS mark can access funds through the world's largest ATM network – one million ATMs in more than 160 countries.
