Youth cards
Visa prepaid youth cards are specifically
designed for teenagers and young adults.
A Visa youth card is a great way to provide young people with
the convenience and security of card payments while maintaining
tight controls.
Typical features may include:
- Controls and limits – benefit from controls such as daily,
weekly or monthly spending limits. For example, parents could
provide pocket money by reloading the card with a set amount of
money on a regular basis
- Parental involvement – maintain direct involvement in your
children’s finances. Parents can receive copies of statements and
also have the option to suspend or cancel the card
- Financial literacy – help younger people learn about financial
responsibilities and realities within a tightly controlled
environment. Visa Europe also provides online financial literacy
programmes to help young people manage their money better
- Card design – create or customise your own personal card
designs. You may, for example, be able to choose from a gallery of
designs or even upload your own picture to create a truly unique
card

you the option to manage your card account online or using your
mobile phone.
