Lost your Visa card?

If you’ve lost your Visa card, contact Visa or your bank. We’re here to help you, wherever you are.

If you’re in your own country

Call the bank or organisation that issued your Visa card. They’ll cancel your card and arrange to send you a new one.

If you’re abroad

Call the Visa Global Card Assistance Service. See the list of toll-free telephone numbers below.  If you have difficulty with any of these local numbers, try the United States office (listed below). 

Getting in touch

The option for card replacement and emergency cash displacement will depend on which bank or organisation issued your card. To assist our customer service teams please have the following information on hand when you get in touch:

• The name of the bank or organisation that issued your card
• The country where it was issued to you
• The type of Visa card
• The 16-digit number on the card – it is vital that you have a record of this number, kept separate from your card

It will also help if you can tell us some of these details:

• Your name as it is printed on the card
• Your postal address
• Your home phone number
• How the card went missing
• Other personal details to confirm your identity.
