Regular payments

We make it easy for you to set up regular
payment arrangements with customers.
We estimate that regular payments such as insurance premiums and
mobile phone and utility payments account for around 20 per cent of
consumer expenditure.
Accepting these payments by Visa could not be easier. Simply ask
your customers for a Visa card number. Then, once the order has
been set up and the first payment authorised, you'll be able to
take payments as agreed with the customer until the customer
cancels.
Using Visa for regular payments is also easy for your customers.
They don’t need to write and post cheques, nor do they need to
worry about due dates or missed payments.
Visa Account Updater and Stop service
If you are a business accepting regular Visa payments, the Visa
Account Updater and Stop service can help you minimise
non-approvals and disputed payments.
The service lets you validate the card details you hold on file
for your regular payments prior to authorising them and is
currently in operation in Greece, Ireland, Italy and the UK.
