Contact us

There are various teams across Visa Europe and more than 4,000 members that can help you. Details of the appropriate contacts for various topics are provided below.

Questions about your Visa card

Visa does not issue cards or set the terms and conditions for your card – this is done by our members. If you have a question or complaint about your Visa card account, you will need to contact your card issuer. Please see our dedicated information for cardholders.

Lost Visa cards

If you’ve lost your Visa card, then you’ll find a list of assistance telephone numbers on our I’ve lost my Visa page.

Verified by Visa

We have a dedicated information site on Verified by Visa which will answer all your queries.

General enquiries

If you are unable to find the information you are looking for on this page or in our FAQs, please contact us.

Cardholder, retailer or business enquiries – Monday to Friday, 08.30 to 17.00 GMT (except for UK public holidays, when our offices are closed)

E-mail: enquiries.europe@visa.com
Tel: +44 (0)20 7795 5777 (enquiries)
Tel: +44 (0)20 7937 8111 (switchboard)

Please note that calls may be recorded for training and quality purposes. From time to time we may also use your information to contact you for quality assurance.

Retailers and businesses

If you already accept Visa cards, and you have a query, you will need to contact the payment service provider which provides you with your Visa card acceptance services. If you want to start accepting Visa cards, you should discuss your needs with the payment service providers – perhaps make a start by asking your own bank. Advice and information for retailers and businesses is also available in our Businesses and retailers section.

Journalist enquiries

If you are a journalist, you’ll find our list of press contacts in our Newsroom.

Members

If you are a Visa Europe member, please contact Visa Europe Customer Support on your country specific number, or e-mail us at customersupport@visa.com.

Fraudulent emails

If you receive an e-mail claiming to come from your bank, or anyone else, requesting personal information, do not provide the details – the e-mail could be fraudulent. Instead, contact your card issuer to determine whether or not the e-mail was from them. Please be aware that Visa Europe never contacts cardholders directly by phone or e-mail requesting personal information relating to your Visa card. For further information, please visit our Fraudulent e-mails and websites page.
